I genuinely believe it's a privilege to be invited into your world.
A little bit about me…
HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED
I grew up on the islands of Georgian Bay, a love that flourished from my dad; which was fostered from his parents. Nature is my reset where I go to reconnect with myself and what’s important in life.
I love camping, have wandered through 23 countries, and share life with two fluffy cats and my cheeky soulmate (who also happens to be an incredible photographer!).
When I’m not shooting, you’ll find me scaling mountains (literally-it’s my favourite), getting in a workout, or just being an all-around goofball. I strive to move through life with kindness, lightheartedness, and generosity in everything I do.
Hi, I’m Lori!
For the past 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing people through thousands of portrait sessions and over 400 weddings.
At 16 I left my small town alone to pursue my love of the arts and worked a few dozen jobs to put myself through ballet school. The world of movement and expression still shapes my approach to photography and art.
My love for capturing stories began with my grandfather, a gifted film photographer, and deepened after losing my father in 2023. That loss shifted everything. It made me see how sacred the smallest moments are, the quiet glances, the in-between laughter, the love that lingers in the details. Now, I photograph with a heart wide open, always seeking what’s real and the best way to honour your story.
One thing I will unabashedly admit: I’m an absolute photo nerd, and I believe the more cameras, the better. Especially when film is involved! I have a deep appreciation for the art and history of photography, and a profound respect for the privilege of documenting one of the biggest days of your life.
I love immersing myself in the entirety of a wedding day, sharing moments of laughter amidst the whirlwind while keeping the experience light and easy. More than anything, I love watching moments unfold uninterrupted. I don’t believe in a static, formulaic style. I approach every wedding differently because every person I photograph deserves to be seen and honoured for exactly who they are.
I’m driven by emotion, by the quiet weight and unique intensity of significant little moments, the less obvious things that make your heart flutter, and the fleetingness of it all. I’m a softie, and I think that’s a big part of why I love what I do.
